原歌词是很有中国古风韵味的，内敛含蓄。罗艺桓改编时，抓住了原曲的离愁别绪，像素胚、炊烟袅袅等，无法用英文直译的内容，采用了更直白的英文歌词，情感表达比较外放。
在意向的选择上，也颇具韵味。但由于汉英两种语言天然的不同，英大觉得和原文相比，少了些江南烟雨的氤氲气息。
但MV弥补了这点不足。MV拍摄得非常有江南风味。一把吉他和小桥流水很配哦。
